IELTS Exam Simulator ("we", "our", or "the App") is a practice simulation tool developed by
Cagri Delibay. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
The App collects minimal data to provide its services:
Account Information: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and
email address for authentication purposes only.
Exam Data: Your practice exam answers, scores, and progress are stored locally on your
device. This data never leaves your device.
AI Interactions: When you use AI-powered features (writing feedback, speaking
evaluation), your written or transcribed responses are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for
evaluation. No personal identifiers are attached to these requests.
Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage data (e.g., number of exams completed)
to improve the App. No personally identifiable information is included.
1A. AI Data Sharing Consent
Before sending data to an external AI service, the App shows an in-app consent prompt.
The prompt explains what data is sent, to whom it is sent, and for what purpose.
You can decline consent and continue using non-AI features.
You can later grant or revoke consent from the App's Legal settings menu.
2. How We Use Your Information
To authenticate your identity and manage your account
To provide AI-powered writing and speaking feedback
To track your exam progress and display performance analytics
To improve the App's features and user experience
3. Data Storage & Security
All exam data (scores, answers, settings) is stored locally on your device using
browser storage. We do not have access to this data.
We do not operate backend servers that store your personal data.
Authentication is handled by Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In under their respective privacy policies.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
Google Gemini AI — For AI-powered feedback on writing and speaking tasks
Google Sign-In — For user authentication
Apple Sign-In — For user authentication on iOS
Google AdMob — For displaying advertisements (see Google's ad privacy policy)
4A. What Is Shared with Google Gemini
Writing task prompt + your writing response text
Speaking questions + your speaking transcript text
Wrong-answer analysis payloads (question, your answer, correct answer) when AI analysis is requested
Score summaries and weak areas when AI study-plan generation is requested
Recipient: Google LLC (Gemini API). Purpose: generating AI feedback and guidance.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13.
6. Data Deletion
You can delete all your local data at any time by:
Using the "Reset All Data" option in the App's settings
Uninstalling the App from your device
To request deletion of your authentication data, please contact us at the email below.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access your personal data (stored locally on your device)
Delete your data at any time
Opt out of AI features (simply don't use the AI feedback buttons)
