Security Policy
Last updated: March 5, 2026
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect IELTS Exam Simulator users and their data.
1. Data Storage Model
- Most user progress data (answers, scores, settings) is stored locally on the user device.
- We do not run an app backend that stores full exam history data.
2. Authentication Security
- Authentication is handled through trusted providers (Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In).
- The App does not store user passwords directly.
3. AI Request Security
- When AI feedback is requested, relevant writing/speaking text is sent to Google Gemini API for processing.
- No unnecessary personal profile data is intentionally attached to AI requests.
4. Access and Minimization
- The App aims to collect only data required to provide core functionality.
- Users can clear app data using built-in reset options.
5. Reporting a Security Issue
If you discover a potential vulnerability, please report it responsibly by email:
traienglishteacher@gmail.com
Please include:
- Device and OS version
- App version
- Steps to reproduce
- Screenshots or screen recording (if possible)
6. Response Commitment
We will review security reports promptly, investigate valid findings, and release fixes as quickly as reasonably possible.
